Prometeo Coaching — Faculty and Team

The Prometeo Coaching faculty integrates professional Coaching expertise, psychological competence, elite sports experience and international training standards.

University lecturers, trainers, psychologists, consultants, Olympic athletes and Professional Coaches work together to ensure academic quality, supervised practice, methodological consistency and alignment with Italian and international professional standards.

Angelo Bonacci — Founder and Academic Director, Prometeo Coaching

Angelo Bonacci

Angelo Bonacci founded Prometeo Coaching in 1997 and has directed its academic programs since then. With 28 years of professional Coaching practice and training in Italy, he is one of the most experienced figures in the Italian Coaching profession. He delivers over 2,000 hours of Coaching annually across corporate, sports and professional contexts in Italy and internationally.

In 2015, he was a member of the working group that drafted the UNI 11601 Technical Standard — the Italian national standard defining professional requirements for Coaching services. In 2019, he contributed to the companion standard on Coaching knowledge, skills and competencies. In 2018, he obtained CSQA certification of conformity for the design and delivery of Coaching services under UNI 11601:2024 — a certification Prometeo Coaching holds to this day (Certificate No. 53733, valid until 20/06/2027).

His professional approach was shaped in direct exchange with Timothy Gallwey and Renato Ricci of The Inner Game Institute, and with John Whitmore. He is a Certified Inner Game® Facilitator and has deepened his work across Positive Psychology, Gestalt, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership with leading national and international trainers. He is the author of Migliora la tua Vita! Manuale di Self Coaching (FrancoAngeli), ranked among the top 10 books on Coaching in Italy.

He has been actively involved with A.Co.I. — Associazione Coaching Italia since its founding and contributed to the development of the professional Coaching regulatory framework in Italy.

Michael Gabaldi — Founder and CEO, Vira Human Training

Michael Gabaldi

Michael Gabaldi is Founder and CEO of Vira Human Training, an International Coach Training Provider based in Dubai with ICF-accredited Level 1 and Level 2 programs. He holds a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, specializing with distinction in Psychology of Well-being and Performance.

He developed his professional practice through the integration of psychological sciences, adult learning and professional Coaching training. His work includes advanced training with The Inner Game Institute of Timothy Gallwey, Practitioner and Master Practitioner qualifications in NLP through the NLP Society™ of John La Valle and Richard Bandler, and specializations in Corporate Coaching, Sport Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership development.

Through Vira Human Training, he designs and delivers ICF-aligned professional Coaching training programs, with a focus on core competencies, professional ethics and structured learning processes. The Prometeo Coaching partnership with Vira Human Training enables Italian-trained coaches to access ICF ACC and PCC credential pathways.

Nicoletta Caputo

Nicoletta Caputo brings extensive experience in corporate consulting, with a background in Marketing and Communication strategy for small and medium-sized enterprises. She currently operates as a Business Consultant, focusing on organizational transformation and sustainable growth.

Her Coaching practice developed from a foundation in Neuro-Linguistic Programming — Practitioner and Master Practitioner certified through the NLP Society™ — and has expanded through training in Business Coaching, Effective Communication, Transactional Analysis and Emotional Intelligence. She is a Certified Inner Game® Facilitator, working with The Inner Game Institute founded by Timothy Gallwey.

As Professional Coach and Tutor at the Prometeo Coaching School, she works with national and international organizations, specializing in Business Coaching, Leadership, Time Management and Public Speaking.

Federica Palumbo — Professional Coach and NLP Trainer, Prometeo Coaching

Federica Palumbo is an internationally certified NLP Trainer (NLP Society™ of John La Valle and Richard Bandler) and Professional Coach with expertise in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, effective communication, advanced linguistic models, conversational hypnosis and change techniques. She is a member of the UNI Technical Standard working group responsible for defining professional standards for Coaching knowledge, skills and competencies.

A Law graduate and qualified Lawyer, she has worked for several years as Marketing Director in major corporate groups and has extensive experience in communication and business development. She has personally facilitated the establishment of national-level partnerships and agreements with public institutions, major corporations and industry associations.

As Tutor at the Prometeo Coaching School, she focuses on Life and Business Coaching, human resource development and team leadership, working with both individual clients and organizations.

Sole Lancia — Professional Coach, Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Prometeo Coaching

Sole Lancia is a Professional Coach, Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Specialist and Psychotherapist. She holds a degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” where she later specialized with distinction. She is the author of Chi cerca trova and Tutta l’Autostima che voglio, and has appeared as an expert guest on RAI 1, Sky TG24 and other national television and radio programs.

She has dedicated her career to personal growth, individual fulfillment and social development projects. Between 2013 and 2017, she contributed to the scientific committee on healthcare rights in oncology, helping to define the annual guidelines adopted by the Italian Ministry of Health. For over a decade she has led personal growth groups, supporting individuals in discovering and developing their potential.

Her mission is to promote personal growth, self-fulfillment, well-being and happiness — grounded in scientific research on human potential and performance optimization.

Tania Cagnotto — Professional Coach and Olympic Champion, Prometeo Coaching

Tania Cagnotto

Professional Coach · Olympic Medallist · World Champion in Diving

Tania Cagnotto is a Professional Coach and former Italian diving champion. She represented Italy in five consecutive Olympic Games from Sydney 2000 to Rio 2016, winning two Olympic medals — bronze and silver — and becoming World Champion at Kazan 2015, the first Italian woman to achieve this in diving. Her career record includes 10 World Championship medals and 20 European Championship titles. CONI (the Italian National Olympic Committee) included her in the Walk of Fame of Italian sports.

Her elite career gave her direct experience of the decisive role of mental strength in performance under pressure. After retiring from competition, she collaborated with the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN) on developing mental resilience programs for young competitive divers.

As a Sport Coach at Prometeo Coaching, she works with athletes on mental preparation, performance under stress and the development of the mindset required to compete at the highest level.

Matteo Castaldo — Professional Coach and Olympic Athlete, Prometeo Coaching

Matteo Castaldo

Matteo Castaldo is a Professional Coach and former Olympic rowing athlete (2013–2021), with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. A member of Italy’s men’s coxless four from 2015 to 2021, he became World Champion, European Champion and two-time Olympic bronze medallist at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. In 2015, he was awarded the Collare d’Oro al Merito Sportivo — the highest honor CONI bestows on an Italian athlete.

His work as a Sport Coach focuses on the mental and emotional preparation of athletes: goal setting, performance under pressure, strategic planning and the development of resilience. His guiding principle — “success is long patience” — defines his approach to both his own career and his work with clients.

Rossano Galtarossa — Professional Coach and Olympic Champion, Prometeo Coaching

Rossano Galtarossa

Rossano Galtarossa is a Professional Coach and the most decorated Italian rower in Olympic history. He competed in six Olympic Games from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012, winning gold in Sydney 2000, silver in Beijing 2008, and bronze in Barcelona 1992 and Athens 2004. Across 14 World Championships, he won 10 medals: 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze. In 2016, he served as team leader for the Italian Paralympic rowing team at the Rio Games.

He currently serves as Director of Canottieri Padova ASD and Vice President of CONI Veneto. He teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Padua, Department of Motor Sciences, and organizes corporate team-building programs applying his sports expertise to organizational performance.

Firmly convinced of the decisive role of the mental factor in sport, professional life and personal growth, he has undertaken specific Coaching training to develop this dimension of his practice. His approach is grounded in the belief that transferring experience alone is not sufficient — each individual requires a personalized process.
